This bring me to tears to say this. The blues died at least for today. Our very good friend Alan Mirikitani Band Leader for BB Chung King passed away while making music in the recording studio. He was doing what he loved but succumbed to a massive heart attack. His scheduled concert this week Saturday will now be an impromptu free concert and memorial. I have asked Joey Delgado to help out as a Master of Ceremonies. All of his music buddies are invited and fans are welcome to participate as we try to attempt to sort out the tremendous grief that none of us could even imagine could be here for such a young man. Who could have seen this coming? Maria and I are so incredibly distraught at how life is just so unfair and fragile at times. Everyone who purchased tickets your money has already been refunded. This will be a free concert to his fans by some of his frends.
